Advent: Let's prepare our hearts and minds to welcome Jesus amidst us.

Advent is a time of expectation and hope. The first day of Advent is the first day of a new Liturgical calendar and begins a four-week period of preparation in anticipation of the nativity of Jesus at Christmas.

The most significant tradition of the Advent season is the Advent Candles. Advent candles shine brightly in the midst of darkness, symbolizing and reminding us that Jesus came as Light into our dark world. Four candles represent the four weeks of Advent, and one candle is lit each Sunday.

- The first candle, symbolizes hope

- The second candle, represents faith

- The third candle symbolizes joy

- The fourth candle symbolizes peace.

Let us prepare our hearts and minds to welcome Jesus amidst us.

Wish you a fruitful season of Advent.
