On Sunday, August 15th in Biscarrosse, Mary, Our Lady of the Ocean, accompanied by seven people from the parish, set off for the Ocean under a beautiful sun.
This feast of the Assumption, which is so dear to our hearts, is prepared with great enthusiasm: the parish community, the tourist office, the municipality, the municipal police, the mounted gendarmerie and the assembly of the faithful, all together we honour Mary, our Mother.
Celebrated in front of the ocean, the mass, prayed and sung, is lived in fervour, faith and trust in Mary, the Star of the Sea.
At the end of this celebration, a wreath blessed by the priest is carried out to sea by the lifeguards and surfers in remembrance of all those lost at sea.
