FEAST OF PENTECOST

Prayer to Mary in the time of Pentecost 

How many amazing things happened on that day! 

Better than anyone, O Mary, you keep these memories. 

Better than anyone, O Mary, you know the secret.

One day, in Nazareth, you received the word.

The spirit had long been preparing your heart for it

and his breath of life made germinate in your womb

the Savior of the world.

At Cana, the disciples had followed the Master.

But they still knew him so little, so badly.

At the Cross where Jesus, dying, gave up the ghost,
