Dear friends, 
The holy month of Ramadan is an important time for your community and for each of you in your relationship with God and with others.
We are happy that, beside us, you are living this time as we are living ourselves the spiritual high points of Lent.
In the midst of the current difficulties and trials, in a world marked by fear and the search for meaning, we have a great responsibility as believers, one next to the other. That of living God's mercy with all and of bringing God's peace to us.
May your search for God in prayer during this month be translated into concrete gestures of sharing (food collection for the Restaurants of the Heart...) and by the witness of a happy sobriety when too often for our contemporaries happiness is confused with having and accumulating goods.
May God, who is merciful to those who turn to him with a humble heart, bless each of you, your families and your communities. And we entrust to him our path of dialogue and fraternity among ourselves in the city of Mureaux
